When to go to the Emergency Room
Avoid ER visits unless you have:

chest pain
-
shortness of breath
-
loss of consciousness
-
one-sided weakness with facial droop and garbled speech
-
sudden severe abdominal pain
-
high fever with rash
-
seizures
-
severe repeated vomiting
-
serious burns or lacerations
Most ER visits can be avoided by calling your doctor first. We answer our phone 24 hours per day.
